Holiday and Winter Vehicle Checks
As the warmth of the summer leaves us and we look ahead to the winter, it’s important to check that our vehicles are ready to cope with freezing temperatures, wet/icy roads, short days and snowy driving conditions. This is particularly important if you rely on your car in all weathers. Figures from the RAC show that motorists are 50% more likely to break down in the winter – so we’re looking to make sure that this isn’t you!
During a Winter Vehicle Check one of our vehicle technicians will check your car to ensure that it’s ready for winter. We will check:
- Tyre pressure and tread depth
- Screen wash
- Oil level
- Exterior lights and bulb replacements
- Antifreeze levels
- Brakes
- Heating, air conditioning and ventilation
- Wiper blades
- Exhaust
If we find a fault with any of the above, we will talk you though the problem and discuss repairs.
